Haache ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: name, username, email address, and profile photo when you register.
Location data: your approximate or precise geographic location to show nearby content and places. We only collect this while the app is in use.
User content: posts, photos, stories, messages, and comments you create within the app.
Device information: device type, operating system, and push notification token to deliver notifications.
Usage data: how you interact with the app (e.g., posts viewed, check-ins, reactions).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Haache service.
To show you location-based content, places, and events near you.
To send push notifications about nearby activity (you can disable these in Settings).
To enable communication between users (direct messages, room chats).
To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.
To analyze usage and improve app performance.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Firebase (Google LLC): We use Firebase for authentication, database storage, and file storage. Your data is stored on Google's secure servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Agora: We use Agora for real-time video and audio calls. See Agora's Privacy Policy.
Expo (Expo Inc.): We use Expo for push notification delivery. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
Other users: Your username, profile photo, posts, and public activity are visible to other Haache users based on your privacy settings.

4. Privacy Settings

Haache gives you control over your privacy:

Visible: Your location is visible to nearby users.
Approximate: Only a blurred version of your location is shown.
Invisible: You are hidden from the map entirely.
Incognito Mode: Your posts appear as anonymous.

5. Data Retention

Posts automatically expire after 24 hours.
Stories expire after 24 hours.
Direct messages are retained until you or the other user deletes the conversation.
Account data is retained until you delete your account.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Delete your account and associated data at any time from the app Settings.
Opt out of push notifications in your device Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Haache is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit and Firebase's built-in security features. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
